Photographer: Terry Spencer (1918-2009)
Location: Out-take from unused LIFE cover
Terry documented the early career of The Beatles for LIFE Magazine in a series of superb portraits taken in 1963, at the request of his 13 year old daughter Cara, a fan. "Four glossily-clean and spruce long-haired boys (John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and George Harrison) dressed in black with high buttoned collarless jackets stood on the stage. The scenes we witnessed that night left us in no doubt that we were experiencing a phenomenon."
Print Quality: Archival Digital Fine-Art print on Hahnemühle paper.
