"I thought I had missed my opportunity to photograph Gord Downie live following the Tragically Hip's emotional farewell tour. When it was announced that Gord would be playing at We Day in Toronto with members of Broken Social Scene playing songs off of Secret Path, I knew I couldn't miss it. And what a performance. This frame is from when Gord was wandering down the middle stretch of the stage, showcasing Chanie Wenjack's lost journey in the Canadian wilderness, searching for home. It was more than a moment. Thank you, Gord. For everything."
